I have this molasses lick that keeps my tb busy when tacking yo and I let my welshy have a bit whilst I was doing her rug after some in hand work thinking a couple licks won’t do her harm and before I knew it she had broken it and was crunching away on it so consumed far more sugar than was intended. She is 11hh got Cushings (1/2 pill a day) and so prone to lami. Should I be concerned. I took it away as soon as I noticed. ? silly mistake!!

There’s not a lot you can really do at this stage, just keep an eye on digital pulses etc. Mine did have a laminitis attack when she got into the pigs food so it’s entirely possible I’m afraid.

How long did it take to set in. I’ve just looked at the lick and she probs had about 3cm^3
