OMG, having only ever fed my youngster unmolassessed sugar beet I accidentally bought a bag of the molassessed stuff - it has turned her into a monster!

I went for a hack tonight and it was as though she was high on speed! Absolutely manic, thought she was a bit full of it when she was charging about in her field this morning, and seeing as she had the beet yesty evening it all seems to tie in.
I didn't realise it would have such a difference espcially as the other horse hasn't changed at all - anyone else find this?

Looks like your youngster can't handle it

Yeah, although it felt as though she thought it was great! It may just be that I can't handle her on it instead LOL

The people I bought my Andy off described any feed with molasses in as like crack cocaine for Spanish horses. Therefore I avoid like the plague but it does depend on the horse. My arab tolerates it fine.
