Well, I will try to post images...backed her last night and got on again today. Tomorrow we are hacking down the road with a great nanny horse and then she can have the weekend off while I try my best to ignore the house guests;)

She is amazing, such a little star and I am a very very proud mummy :D:D:D

Thank you. She hasn't been traumatised or even slightly upset by anything yet. Dentist visit brought about as couple of rears as she had 3 caps and a wolf removed, but an excellent EDT meant she was almost falling asleep when he rasped :-)

I wait til.one thing is run of the mill before starting another, so she just absorbs all her lessons without fuss.

Hacking out this morning so can't wait.

Her sire is by Sandro Hit and her Dam is TB x

Went for our 10 minute hack this morning...turned into 20 minutes as she was enjoying herself so much. No flinching at anything, fast cars and vans, super slow cars and vans. We passed traffic cones, bollards, white rocks, boulders, flower pots and over a nasty troll bridge that most horses hate. The most she did was just have a little look while walking nicely forward. She even did a little trot to catch up to nanny horse. I didn't ask as my friend stopped nanny horse to let us catch up, all of about 20 ft as Molly decided the grass verge needed exploring, she just broke to trot and came back nicely when I asked.

On the way back, some horses came out of a road behind us and she did stop to look. She then didn't want to go forward bless her, she wanted to follow them. All it took was a little patience and we were off again. She didn't do anything, just stopped, lol. When we got back to the yard, the gate was opened and she happily walked on when I asked, past the nanny horse and over to h stable.

She was amazing and the only bad thing is, she has done three days now, so is having two days off and all I want to do is get back on :-)

I am a very proud and happy mummy :D:D:D

Thanks Gracie. I was so pleased with her. I still can't wipe the smile off my face...even the in laws and their constant attempts to annoy can't wipe it off, lol.

Thats awesome. well done to you and Molly. Love the pics. (V jealous of your arena it looks great!) x

I wish it was mine, lol. Yard manager happens to be my best friend so I couldn't have anywhere better to keep my horses. I moved there without knowing anyone and can honestly say I have met the best people ever since being there :-)

She sounds like she's going to be an amazing little horse - you're doing a fab job with her

Thank you :-)

Thank you to everyone. I will get some videos next week...she is honestly the bravest, cutest girl :-)

Oh well done, she looks totally relaxed. Looking forward to your video's.
It is a great feeling - just backed our youngster last weekend and Ive managed a couple of short sessions on him this week but he has to have three weeks off from the bit next Tues as he's having his wolf teeth out.

Oh bless. Molly had one teeny tiny one removed on Friday, but EDT said it was so small and insignificant that she could be bitten after 24 hours as it was already on its way out. I actually waited until Monday and yep, she was fine.

I am glad I got her when I did. She is turning four in April and much longer without the ground work and training and she would have been a nightmare, lol.

It is a great feeling and while it used to be my day job, it has been a good while and Molly is properly my baby girl now so it all means a bit more.

Sounds like you are having a great time with yours too :)

Well done you, she looks a real sweetie and totally relaxed. I am in the same boat as you, newly backed my girl and I am smiling from ear to ear a month in, it does make you feel so proud :D
