Monarchs Aristocrat

Just looked at results for Boekelo, WFP's ride Monarchs Aristocrat has a (D) next to his name and retired on XC, anyone know what happened?

there's a long thread about it elsewhere. he fractured a pastern on a corner 2 fences from home, i believe. wfp pulled up and jumped off immediately, ambulance was there v. fast, but there was nothing they could do. tragic.

Oh no that's awful! He must be gutted! I had a quick look to see if there were any posts but I couldn't see anything! That is my worst nightmare when I go XC.

The post is in the Latest news section, i was there , it was very sad but dealt with in the best possible way as quickly as possible and just a v sad accident.
