Montana Ranch Holiday

Has anybody ever been to Montana on a ranch/cattle drive holiday?

Im looking to go in April/May next year as it has been my childhood dream. However, Im stuck choosing a place so has anybody been before who could recommend a good place.

Would also be looking at travelling around a bit whilst there so any suggestions on that front greatfully recieved too.

I went to one in Idaho this summer bordering the Montana sate line. Was a great experience. We spent 5 days rounding up semi wild mustangs and bringing them back to ranch. Riding for 6hrs a day and camping out in the mountains for 4 of the nights each at different locations, good food was cooked in the chuck wagon at camp and we ate, drank and sang songs around the camp fire!

Forgot.. they also do the cattle drives. But are very slow, due to nature of the beast. if you want a more speedy thrilling experience the horse drives are the one.
