As Above. Just read my PM,s . This is due to celebrating her Unconditional offer to the Royal veterinary College. Old news, I hear you all cry,cos she posted it yesterday. Thing is you dont know the half of it and why I am so proud of her. She always wanted to be a vet but didnt manage to get in . But pushed and supported by her fantastic OH Tom,she went to night school and studied. This was her second application (rejected last year).Well she is an example to us all. Go for your dream and dont give up.
 
Aw, what a lovely post!

She certainly is an inspiration and should be so, so proud of herself. I always wanted to study Equine Nutrition and this is a big regret of mine because I didnt follow my dream.

Congratulations Monty and Zoom.....oh and dont settle for just the one hang over......more celebrating is in order because you worked so hard, didnt give up and grabbed your dream with both hands! A very big Well Done from Shelley and Jamin xx

Thank you so much Mike!!! It is so lovely to have so much support, it has really got me through the hard slog (although 4 more years of hard slog are about to start!).

It's great to have such wonderful friends, virtual and otherwise :)
 
What a lovely post to make Mike. I think you should be aware though that there won't be many more hangovers, vet students never get drunk. (insert tongue in cheeky smiley here.:D).
 
only 4 more yrs? do u get to skip a year then? the RVC is fab and of course I never got drunk there lol!

huge congrats on getting in - that's def the hardest bit!

Exactly- why do you think they told you about it now...... it's because it's a VERY long weekend :D Lots of available days for hangovers :D

Star - yes I've been put on the graduate accelerated course since I have a Biology degree so I have to do the first 2 years in one :eek:!

Thanks so much again guys. I REALLY can't wait to start now :D
 
lucky you! less exceedingly dull cellular biology and biochem! completely irrelevant **** that i cant remember anything of now! you will have such fun!
