Today we magically transformed ourselves from dressage queens into showjumping aces (or not!!)
Was impressed with her warm up as was certain she'd be tired after a really hard few days with lots of travelling but no, she was pinging.
Started with the 1.10 and she towed me round the first phase clear, I got a bit competitive in the jump off so we rolled a pole on an upright but she felt great- took me a fair while to pull up at the end!! 1.10 is just a bit small for her really, she finds it a bit easy.
Then 1.15 she was much more civilised with her pace and jumped really nicely. It was a horrid course- one spread and the rest fiddly uprights with a treble of uprights and a tight related distance of 3 uprights with a short striding in between! She got a little close to no 2 and had that down but really tried over everything else so just had the 4 faults.

Really pleased with her, it all felt very easy so soothed my nerves a bit before the start of eventing season!!

Will link to pics when they go up online.
My sister won class one on her new youngster and he jumped a super double clear in class 2. Her OH came 2nd in his class and her other two rides jumped well too. Happy day

Well done - bodes well for the start of the eventing season and looks like she has plenty of stamina to keep herself going! Are all the horses going to be eventing?

She's fitter than I thought

Yep sister should be eventing 3 this season, all at different levels which is a slight pain but hopefully the babies will catch up fast

So, who was more tired - you or Moon? Well done, sounds like you have had a good few days. Your sister must be feeling pretty pleased too.

Hark at you. 1.10 is just sooooo small

You must be feeling good about going intermediate now.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hey, I never said I find it small- it's just that my pony happens to :P

Intermediate is up to 1.25 so I think I may need more brave pills before attempting that. God knows why I ever did it on Boss!!

Novice, she's not 7 till June and her xc wont be ready to step up a level until the summer I suspect. We'll do 3 or 4 novices then try some INs. I cant wait either!!!
