Okay, he is still limited in his activities but after a week off he is feeling much better, and livelier. ;) Feel free to just skip through the waffle and go to the pictures ;)

He's been photographed to death recently for my latest assignment () but mum snapped a few of us going naked (not literally..) this morning. I'm really happy with him at the moment. Until really recently he would never offer to work in to a contact (if you can really call it that!) or actually even tollerate any sort of contact on his mouth without making a fuss, but with all of this slow stuff I think it might be sinking in for both of us!

We temporarily ditched the gag for a snaffle but I found I had literally no control, so we have come to a comprimise; The gag stays in, but he has to learn to stop, turn and go purely from my seat (I have to admit, so far so good) which involves periods of reinlessness ;)

He's getting a loading dose of joint supplement in a token amount of feed daily and I found some glucosamine joint rub in homebargains for something like 99p.. It's probably doing nothing other than making him fat and staining his leg but it makes me feel as if I'm doing something to help him. Patience is just so hard :(

Firstly, I apologise for the poo stains :D We were riding before the daily wash and groom, as you can probably tell ;)

He has lost so much muscle :( I wish I had some more exciting pictures to share!

If any one has any tips for helping me keep my reins the same length.. please share!

Thanks for looking!

What a big pretty boy!
Getting Continental reins(I think thats the name..) Reins with the tabs sewn on really help to keep them at the same length. I suffer from this problem :p
I also find wearing gloves helps alot!

All the best, you boy is stunning! ;)

Thanks :D Heheheh. 'Lovely shade of coffee' that is the best thing that I have heard, ever. He's not the easiest to clean, I have to say

I know exactly the sort of reins, I guess I could put a hairband or something around my own to try and replicate it? Thank you ;)
