Sorry very self indulgent post
Had Lesson on Monty today, got to the yard and YO had put one of her horses next to school so immediately thought we would have napping issues again
I was so wrong
He did nap a few times but not half as bad as last week. He was really springy so was working on collection this time
. Before we have had to work on forwardness as he has a tendency to be a bit backwards
The trot felt great
Went onto canter which is my worst pace, I completely lose the plot and forget how to ride
We normally end up going round at break-neck speed with head stuck right in the air in true giraffe style
But today we had canter on both reins whilst being lovely and round
Sorry completely pointless post but hey, love my horse today
Now looking forwards to dressage at the end of the month
