Horse went for lived biopsy yesterday, have to wait for a week for the results and surgeon wouldn't be drawn on causes, prognosis etc

However one thing he did say was the left hand side of the lover was markedly smaller than the right the way he phrased it sounded like the LH side had shrunk as opposed to the RH side was enlarged

Anyone have any experience of this? What was the diagnosis and outcome? I know I will find out eventually I just need to know what I should be preparing myself for!?

Thanks in advance

Another bump, but mainly because I thought you had typo'd in the title and would be about livery, but then you had typo'd in the post, his lOver was markedly smaller! lols.

I know this isn't a laughing matter but I have had a crap day and it made me chuckle at my own idiocy then the typo, sorry slightly hysterical! hope you get some help, beyond my expectations!

Dex has liver fibrosis from hepatitis rather than the more serious cirrosis (sp) from something like ragwort poisoning. He had lots of drugs until he was stable and has been ok for 2 years now on a careful diet and lots of D&H Milk thistle plus liver active from Germany.
