I have to use a shaving fork when poo picking (1) Cairo does huge poos and (2) Chancer spreads them several feet in all directions so they have to be raked up.

Thinking of changing his show name to the Muck Spreader.

Anyone else have a horse doing this? Is this normal for youngsters - will he grow out of it?

In our field it definately is a hairy brown and white beast doing the spreading.

He also does it when they are turned out it he school in winter - spreads it around and then to really gross out my OH, nibbles away at the hot poo - and then comes over for a kiss - yuk.

OH calls him poo breath
