More on the pit bull bite

As some of you may remember my niece's pit bull bit me quite badly on the arm several months ago. Today I was helping my mom with some stuff and afterwards we were talking. The subject of that d@mn dog came up. According to my sister and my niece it's my fault that I was bitten! Supposedly I put out my arm?! I looked at my mother and said niece should come over to my house and put her arm out to either of my dogs and see if she gets bitten. Can you believe how delusional some people are?

Unfortunately I can, it's scary though, what happens when it's a child's arm that get funny about in front of the dog?

I've tried. the dog should be put down and a second bite will do that. My sister will lose her house and who knows what else. When this happens, and it will be another human bite or one of their cats being mauled, I hope the human isn't too badly hurt and can get past it. Cat will be dead in a horrible way.

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen but the tragedy is it will not be an accident but something known about and entirely preventable. Your sister and niece are in denial. I feel for you GSD, it’s a horrible position to be in.

She'll be sued and the amount will almost certainly be more than her homeowners insurance cover. And she could be sued for knowingly keeping a biting dog.
