More Otto!

Some from his walk this afternoon. Would have got some better ones this morning, but it was too early for my brain to work that hard

He was a loon this afternoon despite having gone miles this morning and then spent the rest of the day at the Garden Centre and then in the Garden! Bloomin' Spangles

I had lots of lovely shots of the woods with a white steak in the middle, or a tail/ear/nose at the edge of the shot

So these are the ones that you can actually tell it's a dog

The grass is too long for him to walk through, so he has to jump

"I think I can see a fish!!!"

There were lots of Coots scrapping - Otto was fascinated, but not enough to get in the water

In the brook

Can you tell I was growling at him so he stayed still??

This was nearly a lovely picture, but he could still hear those bloody Coots

And this was nearly a white streak, except he had to brake to turn the corner

It's my phone camera

I'd never get any if I relied on my camera as, a) I'd forget it, and b) the time it takes between pressing the button and the shutter going, Otto would be in the next county

It is a pretty fancy phone though

It was going to be even better, as I was crouched right down and he was coming straight towards me, but as he often does, he changed direction at the last second

Henry does that too, it's like he's on an invisible string that yanks him off to one side

Where do you walk him? Is it a proper footpath or on private land? We're having problems finding nice walks for Yellow Dog where he can get as wet as he likes.

It's a proper footpath.

Do you know where The Glasshouse is?? There are two woods nearby, Newent Woods and Castle Hill Woods.
These pictures are from Castle Hill Woods, which I prefer walking in as there is far too many fisherman at Newent Woods, so you have to be on the look out for cars all the time, and keep the dog on the lead if you go near the lake. There are fisherman at this lake too, but they don't pay to use it, so I feel I have as much right to be there

Castle Hill is at the bottom and Newent is in the top left, just off the picture. I bet Splotchy knows where it is

I have no idea what small furry animals may lurk in the woods, they hear Otto crashing around from miles away and scatter

And it makes me see so much spaniel in Popple when I look at them, with him being pretty much the same age. Popple does the same thing in the crops as that fist pic.

He has great fun out on walks, especially now he is trusted to be off his lead the whole time

Otto definately lives up to his breed, he has several springs

I am determined to get one of him jumping the ditches along the track, I wish I had a horse with that much scope

LOL! Popple can bounce up onto the back of the sofa in one go, or over an entire cattle grid

Those short legs don't hold her back at all

She did get described as a sausage dog x Lab tonight though

Otto does clean over the sofa in one, but he is a fair bit larger than Pint Sized Popple

He's so handsome. And I thought Stella had loads of energy

He is absolutely shattered now

Currently flat out on his back having a dream... even when he sleeps he is still running!

I think he would run himself to death if he was allowed to, he just never stops

Although in the house he is as quiet as a mouse
