Love Monty the Springer - hope he goes to a good home. Can you tell us why he ended up with you?

He is lovely, Im not a spaniel lover, but he looks like a smart lad.
Im not exactly sure, he is very boisterous though, no lead manners, no manners at all really, he is loopy, but he is lovely natured and playful boy, I would guess a typical, cute when he was a baby, given no exercise or time, and he became to much, but I will ask for a definate answer tomorrow.

He is off to the prison service, they love his find the ball skills

we played for 2 hours today with his ball, he was the happiest boy in the world, and tired when we where through

why can't people just give what they need, is it so hard to do?

How do you manage not to keep them all ? It makes me so mad when people take on breeds like Springers and then rehome them because they develop typical breed traits, have these people not heard of research before you get a puppy

All credit to you for helping these dogs. I would so dearly love to take one off your hands but i am at work all day, so not fair on the dog. A gentleman at my work has a springer and he & his family were at there wits end because he was so boistrous and always just took off every time they took him for walks. He didn't know what to do with him so i just said persivere (sp) take him to be trained and he will come true. Well all credit to him he stuck with if for 9mths and he has finally calmed down (2yrs) and he says he is the best dog in the world and he has numerous hours of fun walking him etc. It's a shame other people weren't more like him & his family

Do you ever supply the airports with sniffer dogs? I had a conversation last week with a woman who uses a rescue harrier at the airport; the dog sniffs out drugs, as well as food products people aren't allowed to bring into the country.

He looks huge in that picc, looking at it, he does look wolf houndish

but he is a bedlington x deerhound x collix greyhound we think, we have his brother as they where both handed in at the same time, merlin was kept back by my mam, they where pretty much feral when we got them, me and OH where asked to remove them from a kennel because they where aggressive and know one could get in, they where indeedy

the one we kept nearly had my arm off

They had basically been kept in a kennel from puppies and never socialised, we where told

so they are both very warey of strangers, but bond well to one person.

This is a better proportioned picci, he is about the size of him, I cannot find one of flint, but I will look, flint is a different colour alogether.

He is more fawn blue and orange, like candy striped colour

Regan is a nosey cow, she got in the way of all of the picture taking yesterday

Easy...my house is bursting at the seems

Im looking at a bigger house with lots of land...not sure if thats a good idea

We have had more springers and labs last year and the beginning of this, it's getting bloody stupid

Not direct, but im not sure if some end there, we get a letter to state when the said dog passed their training and usually where they are stationed, and if any fail, obs they are contracted back, or sometimes they ask if they can rehome them, because they have lists of people wanting them.

That stafeee was rehomed to my sister yesterday

he was a dude, the best behaved staffi in the world, she has cats, and loves bull breeds, and he is great with cats,bad points, he let the dogs pick on him and hang on his neck

The dobi x, was handed in as a choc lab x dobi

This is what angers me most about people buying dogs, why not just do a bit a research and find out what you are buying, what they are bred for, etc.

Monty is lovely though, glad he's got a job, although I was thinking how he would make a lovely brother for Otto

I will blame everyone on this forum if I end up with another dog

Isn't she stunning, she has a fab sweet nature too, she reminds me so much of my 16 year old standing in the background of the picci when she was younger, she is very dainty for a grey, and very pretty indeed

You owe it to greyhounds everywhere to get another one

And that Amy would be sooo perfect.

Re the no money thing, you sell everything you own and eat just soup made from out of date veg and you could get another 2
