) ,as I've been told tweed is correct

- What type of bridle? I really want a rolled bridle but I'm guessing this is incorrect

dark trousers if ur horses legs are light in colour but u should wear light trousers with dark horse legs!!!!
dont know if tweed colour matters much as long as ur smart and ur hat and gloves and cane all sort of match!
bridle not sure!!!!

Well this is your horses twin in a coloured class the other weekend!

Obviously though she is only in the double bridle as she is 12 and was going to do a showing class straight after!

What 'type' is Sol

Whiff is looking beautiful as usual

If she were mine, I'd have her in a plain, flat browband, and a plain flat cavason noseband.

Good tight plaits sewn in - about 9 I would think.

Green tweed is preferable, looks much smarter and more 'pro' than blue or grey.

Pulled tail, banged across the bottom, with her legs and face clipped or trimmed.

She is usually pulled and trimmed but we are currently sporting the mountain pony look as I don't trust my pulling skills so have to wait for some kind soul to pity me and do it

I assume her tack should be brown not black ?

And plait wise , she has a very long neck (well average for her size but she's just big

) so should I aim for less plaits in a vain attempt to hope it makes her neck look shorter ?

Thankyou everyone for the help

There are lots of pictures from the same coloured horse show we were at here...

It will give you ideas of what to wear.

For me she is a sports horse and should therefore be turned out in a normal bridle, as she is broken and riding, with either a chain and lead rein or reins.
Plaited obviously but if you are wearing a tweed jacket then you should use a plain bridle (not a velvet browband!)

R.E. plaits... I have 15 in my mares neck and it doesn't look like a lot at all! Sometimes if you put less bigger plaits in it makes the neck look worse.
Experiment and see which looks best!

Ohh shall look through the photos now (never thought of that -Doh'!)

So would her bridle be ok -

If you had a havana one that would be better, and also I think a thick flat noseband would suit her but only if you have one available to you?!

So more like this ...

Ok

She needs a second bridle (as the stubben has taken a severe bashing over the 2 years I've had it !) so will look out for something like that ..

Let me quickly re-cap
