More Tack Theft west Yorkshire

A Riding School in Huddersfield West Yorkshire, had it's entire tack room cleared out today, apparently in less than 6 minutes. This was in the middle of the day, a red LDV van was seen in the area and is thought to be involved. Another yard in the same area had everything, including their hay stolen earlier this week.

We are in leeds, so still a fair distance away, i'll keep an eye open though.

Theives were disturbed trying to break into a tack room on the outskirts of Leeds yesterday. Theyt were travelling in a Silver Honda Civic.

Think it was in Marsden. They'll have to get down to Holmfirth sales this Saturday to see if they can spot any of their tack. Also check Ebay I've heard of stolen saddles going on there pretty soon after the theft. I keep everything at home now, it's the safest place at the mo.

There have been reports of tack stolen in Linthwaite and Meltham too. The vehicle was also said to be a Honda.

Also been advised that some loons are going round and opening gates and letting horses out of fields in the Huddersfield area. So ensure gates are fastened securely.
