Lottie has been great since the Physio. Feet looking better since the thrush treatment, which I'm carrying on with as I feel she has a way to go.

She has been totally sound in a straight line and on both reins in the lunge, I checked again yesterday...

So tonight I was picking her feet out and her off fore foot was warm. Not hot but definitely warm. It's the foot that has responded the least to the thrush treatment (cleantrax and red horse field paste).

It's the foot with the slight crack and it has the worst flair. Should I be worried. She was still sound in a straight line tonight!!

Her feet will be getting warmer now she is unshod as the circulation improves, so don't panic, check the others it may be that the worst foot is working harder for some reason, is it the one she was lame on? she needs to get the frogs sorted, keep on the case and check her pulses regularly at the same time each day, do not panic you are on top of the diet and can now exercise her, she should not be laminitic with you taking care of her.

Thanks be positive!! The other feet were cold. They've been stood in today (just for the day) to rest the fields after all the rain in Thursday. I lunged her this morning too actually and walked her in hand for 30 mins this am and about 15 mins this evening. Pulses were fine on all 4 feet.

The lameness we really think came from her shoulder. It had a reel hop to it as she jumped the right leg through due to a very tight shoulder. The Physio thought it was from her carrying more weight on the left near fore probably due to pain in the off fore. Maybe from the splint but maybe (I think) as her conformation on the leg is dodgy (she's pidgeon toed more on that leg but this is improving as her feet change) I think she may have always been like that.

I did some equine touch on her again yesterday and the original tightness has settled since the Physio, but I was able to do more moves (it's much less uncomfortable for her since the Physio) and she has lots of other tight areas all round that shoulder (eg pecs and upper traps).

I'll keep an eye on it!!
