I did a year and a bit of BA equine studies there. Didnt live in but the accomodation seemed alright.

Good facilities to keep your horse but there is an extreme lack of turnout and apparently the arenas are booked a lot so you often get asked to leave. The DIY yards have strict yard duty rotas too I think. Two students from there moved to my yard which is about 3 mins away to drive and good hacking distance. I hack up there to compete.

I was there in 2005! I had a fab time- the living accomadation is basic but more than adequate and the social side is awesome!

The standard of tution is second to none, and the horses used in the school cater to all levels but there are some brilliant schoolmasters some of which have competed to a really high level.

I did struggle having my horse on livery there as there is no turnout through the winter and only slots of a couple of hours every couple of days and she was a very hot headed warmblood. The upside is being based at a comp venue you are never short of comps and I never had any issues getting into one of the three lovely arenas and I used to ride twice a day plus putting her on the walker twice a day- the hacking is also amazing round there.

Sorry that has turned into a total waffle- if there is anything specif you would like to know just shout! I would do anything to go back- I loved every minute of it!

I know the course I want to do (and I have the correct quals for it ) but seeing as I live 3 hours away its the logistics of living there and taking horse along with me ..

Can't find anything about accom on the website so any info on that would be GREAT

My sister lived in there about six years back and she liked it. She left her mare at home though as it didn't get enough turnout. The horse my daughter is now competing on was taken their when his owner was studying and he was fine with the lack of turnout and was hacked out when she couldn't use the schools.

My daughter is due to go next year but is disappointed as we have said she has to come home at night lol...well I do need someone to help run the family ponies!
