Hi all, I have ponies at home for the first time. I start work at 8 and am struggling to organise myself to get to work on time and not smelling like a dirty stable 😊. For my career and colleagues sake , any tips?? Plus, I'm super lazy in the morning!

Get everything ready the night before (feed, nets etc)

Get up lazybones :D
Put kettle on.
Put coveralls and hat on.
Go feed, sort out rugs and put hay out.
Put horses out, or whatever.

Ignore stables, or do them while horses are eating.
Go inside.
Make coffee/tea, shower, drink coffee/tea and there you go.

Do the stables in the evening, or semi deep litter during the week.

Mine is similar.

Alarm goes off.
Press snooze.
Press snooze.
Press snooze.
Put on kettle.
Go outside.
Curse.
Try to find headcollars.
Curse.
Put ponies outside.
Ring boss to say I have "car trouble" (again).
Throw hay at ponies.
Accidentally let cat out.
Find treats.
Bribe cat back in.
Get dressed.
Drink coffee in car.
Spill coffee on self.
Explain to boss that he shouldn't fire me.
3 hours later, find hay in hair.

To be honest, I can see some areas that I could work on.

I feel your pain. :(
Wear a hat and gloves. Change shoes before going to work.
I make up the next feed while the horses are eating so that when I get on the yard they're ready to go. No impatient door banging.
Feed hay on the floor.
Go to bed half an hour earlier. ;)
