Mortified!!!!!

I bought a thorowgood squidgy shaped type girth for my pony and used it last night for the first time. She has come up in a massive lump behind the girth on one side I thought it would be comfier than the CC one she had. She isn't reacting to it but I still feel awful.

Any suggestions for a better girth?

could it be that she has been bitten or stung? Or something got trapped between her girth and skin?

If she had reacted to girth I would expect the whole area to swell up. Not one area.
