I am so proud of my little horse. Last night he was ridden completely on his own for the first time. I have been leading him around and he has been so good, not really bothered about Helen being on his back. Last night I handed Helen the lead rope and stepped back to snap some pictures. He was so good and just stood there. It took him a few attempts to walk forward without a lead but in the end he did it. We are going to have to slow down a bit now as he has started growing again and he has always been very serious about growing. I am looking forward to taking him out hacking as I know he will love walks in the country, I am also looking forward to sitting on him myself when he has developed a bit of muscle as I am a bit of a lump, hence I have got Helen to do the ground work. I have put the pictures on my profile as I have never worked out how to post them here !!! sorry.

Awww, sounds lovely. I started doing groundwork with Molly again before the heat struck this morning. She's been off to chill after our fall, but didn't bat an eye at the bridle going on or going in the school. She was a star as usual.

It's such a lovely thing to be able to work with babies :D

Such a lovely picture, I'm jealous. I can't wait to start my little lad but he's only 11months, I've got years to wait! Good luck with him!
