Anyone know of a moss killer for sand arena (40 x 20), be really appreciated.

We have just bought a place in Scotland and there had been a lovely arena once, but now the sans cannot be seen due to moss and lichen.

We will not have any animals until late in the year.

We are perplexed on what to use.

I have seen someone in a similar scenario but with grass and they overturned/ploughed the sand.

You can get moss killer for lawns would that help? And then rake the dead moss off the top.

Ps. Photo B and C look very similar to what my field looked like when we first got it. Obviously we wanted the grass to grow not moss so we chain harrowed repeatedly to pull the moss out and give the grass space to grow. It's worked quite well and we will be doing the same this year too.
