I put a fly rug on my horse for the first time, a Debryhouse, bought second hand but in very good condition. It lasted less than twenty four hours; she had trashed it by this morning She needs a replacement as the flies are bothering her. Any recommendations greatly received. She is a 16h ID. I would like something that has some chance of surviving more than one day.

I bought the Rambo one for my mare who is really hard on rugs and has huge old trees in the paddock etc and she has not trashed it and has worn it for 2 summers. They are expensive but worth it as they last.
This one I know you get them in the UK

Rambo are good yes. When my horse lived with my neighbours who wrecked my rugs it was a Rambo Protector that fared best. A shires high lander Sweetitch was also pretty good and quite tough.
