If I remember rightly it was a weekend showing as I was at boarding school, I watched the whole thing. Certainly get the hankies out.

Never heard of it, I was probably out doing Fuzzies then as was 15, didn't watch much TV at that age.

I was 6 and ponyless and insisted on watching everything horse on tv - think Lone Ranger, Zorro, Black Beauty, Champion the Wonder Horse and I have never heard of it. I feel like I was robbed during my childhood now!

Not surprising really until two years ago it had never been on tv since the 70's and 2 years ago it was on in USA only never the UK in all this time. I remember in Boarding school it moved me so much that I wrote down the story line, and still have it in a school book, praying it would be on but never was. Still has not been on UK since the 70's, don't know why when they do so many repeats of other films and never this.

Mind you

some other series/films not been on either.
