Well I've had the ginger horse for 3.5 months now, and have been getting the weight on him while getting him used to being worked in a non racing environment. He is brilliant! A kinder, more willing horse would be hard to find. I really feel like my 'bargain basement' horse has been an absolute gem of a find. Started lunging him with the Kavalkade HO rein, which has helped improve his way of going tremendously. Also had a bit of an 'MOT' done on him since after I (finally!) got his pp, it turned out his vaxs were not up to date. He had a general checkup, vax, worm count, and teeth. *sigh* The teeth floating he did NOT like. So much so that he ended up having 4 doses of IV sedation, and 3 people held him while the vet did her thing. An hour and a half later, the ginger nut was free to go. Poor sod. Shot my vet bill right up! lol Anyhow, here's a piccy of him looking very under impressed with his new saddle. I am truly so tickled at how this boy is progressing, I cannot say! :D:D:D

Which is a far cry from how he looked just a few months ago, when I got him.
