Moulting like crazy

Lari is moulting like mad, he started last month but it's coming out along his face, back and sides.

What do you use to pull out the dead hair?
I have a rubber curry comb and a mitt but they both get clogged up with hair so quickly.

Are those wood things with the metal 'blade' really as good as everyone raves about?

They are good! I prefer the standard shedding blades which you can pop out into a semi circle as you can cover more coat.

I used to use a standard cheapo dog shedding blade, it worked better than anything else I found because they don't clog up. But I have given up on all that now and I just shave everything off in early March

I use the Lincoln Ultimate Groomer - gets the dead coat out with no issues and is a lot nicer than the shedding blades I see with the metal blade - my sensitive retired lad refuses to stand for one of those, but with the Ultimate Groomer he stands untied grunting away like a little piggy whilst I de-hair him
