Moulting Query

Is it just my dog, he is moulting very badly right now, far more than I would expect for this time of year. Is this normal for this time of year and is there anything that might help him?

happy to accept I just have to sweep the floor three times a day!

Think the extremes in weather might have had an impact. Mine doesn't shed badly but there are a lot of baldies about at the moment!!

Mine are shedding appallingly at the moment, which is quite odd as they are greyhounds and supposedly short coated My big fawn boy particularly has been casting his fluffy undercoat (which isn't thick by any means) for about two months, or so it seems.... ironically his name is Hoover.....

Rua's hair is flying out at an alarming rate! She's a lab. Jess, not quite so much. She's a lab x rottie. Beastie is non casting

Mine don't appear to be shedding any more than usual, but the unusually high temperatures for this time of year may well be a factor.

Thanks for the responses. have been asking around and it seems it is quite a problem for many at the moment, thought to be due to the weather. Will just keep brushing - him and the floor!
