I wondered if anyone could help me

I really want some mountain horse boots and there are some in the sale, and I think they will defo fit around my calf but I'm a bit worried they might be too long! they say they are 44cm tall but the outside of the boot is slightly higher than the inside, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if they measure to the outside rather than the inside? if so I might get just away with them?

Hi,

I have Mountain house boots, they are the only tall boots that have fitted my long legs without ordering them specialy, so id say they will be long. Iv had them almost a year and they havnt dropped much either, although they are my best boots so i only ride in them maybe twice a month.

BTW- they are the best boots iv had, really comfy! i will defo be replacing them when he time comes, but you might have to order them shorter?

Oh booo thank you! I've always thought I had long legs until I wanted some Mountain horse boots! they look like they are going to be about 3/4 cms too long, so if yours having dropped that much I'll probably not get them :( they are £82 off as well but only have this one size :'(

aww thats a shame! Yeah i did the opposite, tried them on, not really intending to buy them, and they fitted me perfect! which never happens! So i couldnt not buy them:D

In my experience, Mountain Horse sizes are huge!! I have some yard boots and a coat from them, the coat is size small and I would say is a 12/14, the boots are size 5 (I am usually size six) and I would say are more like a 7... :p Awesome quality stuff though, but would be tempted to try before buying.

I've not tried on this version but have tried on some size 4 mountain horse boots, im normally a 5 and they fitted ok but they were the a little bit tight on the leg! these ones im look at are the wide version so they will be fine around the leg! just a little too long :(

I have the high riders and they were too long to start with, one was worse than the other, I just put lifts in the heal for a while until they dropped a bit and they are fine now, an old pair of socks folded up in the heal would work.

Also wanted to say mountain horse boots only come in half sizes thats why they seem big I have a 6 1/2 Regular and they fit fine.

I GOT THEM, I GOT THE BOOTS haha

I went to Robinsons today and they had the exact boots in their clearance section, I tried them on, they come up as high as I could comfortable deal with but not too high that I wont be able to ride in them! cant wait until sunday when I go ride the pony that my friend is letting me ride until my boy is backed next month, woohoo
