can you use them in showing classes??

I have been told by someone that you cannot use them in the showring as they are classed as 'yard' boots?? The person said they were too chunky??

Does anyone use these boots or know anyone who does? I am inclined to think it maybe down to this persons own preference rather than knowledge

Ive worn them to Dressage and in Showing classes and never had an adverse comment. Are you sure your friend isnt confusing them with the Mountain Horse Hi-Rider boot? The Sportive boot is more dressy I think. I certainly wouldnt call them yard boots atall.
