So I am on a boot hunt for christmas and currently I can't make a decision so what to hear your opinions on both Ariats and Mountain Horse boots. Or to be honest any boots that fit the shorter person. :p:rolleyes:

I have average sized calves (35.5cms) and am 5'3 and the length from my foot to just under my knee is 39cms :o I have the problem of having sized 7 feet so need adult sized boots that are child length!

Ideas on a postcard please. :D

I have size 7 feet and short skinny calves and the only off the peg boots that have a good range of sizes to fit, and don't assume that if you have big feet you are therefore ten feet tall  are Regent. I love them cos they are reasonably priced and hard wearing (live in mine) and they are a really good fit.:)

I've got size 7 wide feet, with high arches, and although I'm 5' 8" tall, I've got short legs.
I've got a pair of Ariat Bromonts in a wide calf, although they fit beautifully on my feet and the width of my leg, they are a bit to tall so I can't do the zip up fully.

For my sister, who despite looking perfectly normal has odd shaped legs, we bought boots that fitted reasonably and then got them altered so they were the perfect fit. It definitely didn't cost too much to have done either! Would that be a possibility?
