Sorry but I have to let you know this:

Bought myself a pair of Mountain Horse Rimfrost Rider II (my own Christmas present!), wore them this morning while hacking in the snow for around 1 hour and...they are FAB!!!
First time since it got cold than my feet are warm and toasty! (yes yes that's true!)
I definitely recommend them :-)
I think the only thing which may break first may be the zip as it is at the back of the boot and made of plastic, but hopefully I'll be able to wear them for few Winters :-)

Happy Christmas everyone!

yup! Love mine, also thought same about zip, but on second winter and it still goes strong. Just a bit of damage to one toe from being stood on/scrunched (thanks pony) - think it will fix with super glue. Still as tough/waterproof/warm as new! :)

I too have the first version, absolutely fab, very cosy. I've had mine years, zips still fine but the velcro fastenings have broken, however they will be easy to fix, when I get 'round to it.

I have the first version and the zip went on mine 8 months after buying them. it split where my ankle bends so spent £50 getting a new zip in them (yes they have to take the boot apart to do it!!) and then they started to leak!!

Anyway I've bought myself another pair as they are the warmest boots I've ever worn.
