It's a clearance sale at Ickleford near Hitchin. There are some really good bargains. Last year I got breeches, a quilted jacket & fleecy lined chaps (best thing I ever bought) for £50. This year I am after boots. But it's get there early with sharpened elbows as it's a real scrum - not a good idea to take anyone small unless you can leave them outside.
I think it's usually end of line on Saturday, seconds & returns on Sunday.

Oooh thanks! We went a couple of years ago, got some bargains but unless you get there at the crack of dawn it is packed. Think it opens earlier than they say. May try the Sunday this time, didn't realise they sold different stuff on different days.

We got there 8:30 (advertised opening time) last year & had to park miles away. The place was absolutely heaving. Ended up telling O to stand outside as I kept losing him.
