I'm thinking of treating myself to a pair of long boots and really like the look of these. Thing is although I'm average height, 5'4", I'm quite short in the leg and I have quite slim calves. I usually have trouble finding fashion boots that hug my calves. Basically the measurements from the website I have looked at make the adult size sound like they will be too big, but they actually say not to buy Junior size if you are an adult. Why would this be if the measurements are correct for me?
Also, has anyone here had a similar problem or bought these boots and if so what is the fit like. I would love to actually try some before buying but none of the tack shops local to me stock them. Thanks everso!

i have them and they are a really nice fit, the only problem is that they do drop alot and the velcro on the tab fastening at the top of the zip doesnt last long, so i got studs put in the top to close them, and it makes them look better. they are really good, if you can get away with junior ones go for it just be careful they arent too short as when they drop they will look ridiculous

Hmmm, food for thought. Thank you. I have just measured my leg again against the size guide in ride-aways catalogue and I'm deffo too tall for the junior size if they are going to drop quite a bit, but with 32" calves I'm just too skinny for the adult ones. Gonna have to find some that I can try on me thinks!
