Anyone watched it?

Matthew (my 14 year old) saw it was on last night and recorded it for me as he thought I might like it as it was about horses. Bless him!

I've watched it today and it's actually quite good. Following the Greater Manchester Mounted Police Unit. Got all tearful when two of the horses were being retired to the Home for Rest for Horses. One had been with them for 14 years and the groom was quite attached.

It's repeated many times, over the course of the week and the two new episodes will be shown next Tuesday at 8pm and 8.30pm on Animal Planet, Sky Channel 525.

The second episode next week says tragedy strikes. I am assuming I will cry as I have this feeling a horse is going to be fatally injured.

As an aside, when searching the listings, I saw "A Stable Life" is on there. It talks about Ed and Nadia's divorce and who gets the horses/land. I saw this when it was on a few years ago but I didn't know they'd gotten divorced.

I keep missing it - even though I've written it on the calendar!!!

It's repeated so many times during the week though, so don't despair. Today at 2 and 2.30 I think and again this evening. I kept reading the synopsis to see if it was the new episodes and was quite shocked at how many times last night's two are repeated.

Yeah my husband sky plused it for me one night and now i love it. I thought they'd all be very regimented (the horses I mean) but it's nice to see they've still got a lot of character.

Oh I love it too! Id love to do what they do and pick people up by their collars if they are being naughty - hmmmmm

Do u know anyone that would sky+ it for you?

Yeah I watch this too and find it good to watch but then again I love the Lancs accent too so that helps

I used to watch a stable life before and was aware they had split up. Haven't seen it in a while, caught a bit of it the other day at my mum's and don't know if this is a new series or not?
The one I used to watch involved the two of them falling out quite a lot, like papers going missing etc and there was a young horse who was being competed at an important event and was plagued by a tooth problem at the time and his behaviour/effort went to pots if I remember correctly.
I do enjoy watching horses in work though and the lives of other people. It is interesting and I have also picked up tips on grooming/plaiting and other related issues as well.
Nice programmes for those interested in horses.
Is is me or does the chesnut Id cross called Paddy in Mounted Branch look a bit like a suffolk punch with longer legs?
Most of the horses I have seen just remind me of heavy horse crosses or big heavy weight hunters to be honest. Nice sorts though. Seeing them with clipped out legs etc has got me tempted to do so on my big lad as he has feathers now, was clipped when I had him though. I suppose I will see when the weather gets colder on what I decide to do lol.

No, I've already badgered half my family. Might try older brother but he is a pain in the arse so I'd have to be desperate
