Moved house - dogs messing?

Hi - wonder if anyone can offer advice? I moved house two weeks ago. I have two dogs, and they seem to be really good at going to the toilet outside whilst I am there. But - as soon as I go out, they mess in the kitchen! My mum went round today, whilst I was at work, and she said there was mess in the kitchen. She went out to the back garden to hang my washing out (bless her) and when she came back in, the boy had messed in the kitchen again! Do you think they are worried I am not coming back, or just stressed about being somewhere new? It is being made worse, as my girl has kennel cough, so they are not being taken out for walks, whilst she is infectious.

Any words of wisdom?

It is probably all a little new for them too they are probably worried about the new surroundings and that there is not anyone there to comfort them

Sounds like they stressed out, have you tried a dap
diffuser, these are good for seperation anxiety etc.

Heard a lot about dap diffusers but never used one - just strange as they only do it when I am out, but they are let out into the garden b4 i go out. Will hopefully get better when the kennel cough has subsided, in the mean time will look into the dap.
