Ok well were do I start
Pidge had his back done at 7.45am this morning by the brilliant RC (thanks again Patches
) and is only slightly out which she has sorted and will come again in 3 months time
Moved the horses to Rodbaston College, started sorting at 8.45am and got to Rodbaston just before 11am, thanks to Sis, Mum, Dad, Ian, Rob and Lou
Settled horses in and sorted rubber matting out etc. Phew job done!
Plus forgot to say last week when went to local show that tried tapping Pidge slightly on his bum when he planted himself at the bottom of the ramp the previous time we went out and he loaded pretty much ok. So when went to show he had a small tap on the way there and Lou just stood behind him when we cam home - no tapping. Well this morning he positively carted me on to the lorry, really keen not scared, think he thought he was going jumping again
Been told now no horse lorries on or off the College premises so no show tomorrow and probably no Somerford Park next week
but to be honest if the restrictions are enforced on all sorts of transport etc then hopefully the situation won't be as bad as last time (my Aunty lost all her cattle last time
) so I really feel for the farmers as they suffered not long ago with this and it was hell, and then to have coped with the floods and now this well
There will be plenty more shows to go to anyway!
