Baby cob has had a couple of bad experiences recently which have really unsettled him. Two involved dogs running up behind him (one was behind a garden fence) and the other was a jogger who waited until we went past then took off running - I nearly hit the deck with that one as he leapt forward with a huge buck He's also hating cyclists coming up behind him
He does long rein and I might try that around our fields but my roads aren't safe enough to long rein on.
Any ideas (I'm on my own) as to how I can get him used to those sudden movements behind him and not completely over react? I've started leading around the roads in hand again, but if anyone has useful exercises I can try I'd really appreciate it
