M-B-F working trot
F 10 - 12m half circle returning to the track at B

What would that look like? Would it mean making a sharp right at F and doubling back to the track at B, thereby making a change of rein?

If anyone can provide an illustration - maybe in Paint - I'd be very grateful!

Also:
H-C-M Working trot
M-F One loop between 5 and 10m in from the track
F-A Working trot

What would the bit in bold look like?

The first one is like an ice-cream cone - half a circle going to the middle of the school from M, then a diagonal line back to B so you change rein.

Second movement, go round the end of the school (HCM) then come in a bit from the edge by 5-10m, show a bit of a change of bend then go back out to the track changing the bend back to how you were. Looking down in in it is like someone pulls the middle of the school in with a big belt, if that makes sense!

bye!

thats a 5m loop so your loop woud be slightly further from the trach than that

and thats a half 15m circle returning to the track at M, so your half circle would finish closer to the center line and you would meet the track again at B, does that make sense?

Thanks, guys - I am still struggling to get my head around the icecream cone one, as the departure point is from the corner of the arena - F. Can you clarify which letter markers my half circle should cut through?

Clueless of South-West London x

On the half circle remember it is 6 metres from 'f' to the end of the school, so your half circle will go all the way to the short side of the school.

Any tips on riding the loop? I am struggling a bit to get cobasaurus to respond to the changes of bend I am asking for...

For the loop, I find it best to break it down:
Part 1: ride around the short side and continue off the track in the same bend for a couple of strides at M
Part 2: straighten for 2/3 strides until at the 1/4 line (so at the 5m depth)
Part 3: ride a very shallow curve the other way until pointing at track again, hopefully aiming at F!
Part 4:straight for 2/3 strides until just off the track
Part 5: curve back onto the correct bend and ride the bottom corner.

You will need to practise a few times so that the apex of the shallow middle curve is on the E-B line (.e half way down the long side!)

The real trick is to get the few straight strides in so that you are not puling the horse from one bend to the other!

That all sounds a bit technical I hope it still makes sense!

That is extremely helpful - I was struggling with it this morning, but I will have a crack tomorrow your way and I am sure it will produce an improvement.
