SO... ive moved out of my ex-boyfriends house, which is an hour away from London.

I bought my horse when I moved. Complicated as I will now be moving back to London. I moved yards locally due to issues with the first yard. Now moving yards again will be even more hassle.

The new yard in London during winter has turnout every other day.

She is an ex-racer so she will be used to being stabled. But I am worried about the move causing more stress, along with lack of turnout and obviously money with tests & transport etc. Or I can stay in his area and keep her there... help please!

I’m confused sorry did your current yard have turnout all the time?
Did she stress during the last move?
Why is that that you need to move?

yes current yard has individual paddock, all year turnout, daylight hours only in winter of course.

She did stress, but that's more as she was in on her own over night (due to rehab)

Moving so as not to be near the toxic relationship, as I moved to Bucks. from London. And now I should be near my support network so I am not completely isolated.

I was looking at other jobs in London anyway for more £££

HOWEVER - I absolutely love my yard the set up is perfect with turnout and facilities, plus they do small monthly shows and yes is close to my job and I work in a local pub at weekends which I really enjoy. I want to move but I don't at the same time.

I think your mare will be grand as everyone will be on the same schedule
I think you just have to chose what’s right for you and if you’re happy your mare will be

A few thoughts:
Do you feel comfortable keeping her near your ex?
How reliable/easy would your commute from London to your current yard be?
How stressful is the environment at the new yard (busy, lots of noise, etc)? Will the turnout be individual or in company?

If you do decide to move, I'd think about feeding aloe vera to reduce the likelihood of the ulcers returning as she settles into the new yard.
