Moving from Haylage to Hay

I changed my ponies to hay .When I had 2 big horses at home I was on big bales. When one horse went on loan to college,I didnt get though big bales quick enough so changed to small bales which were dearer so put the ponies on hay. For a couple of days one sulked and wouldnt eat it.
Now the other big horse is home for Xmas
