Hi there, I'm moving to Birmingham this week. I'm working full time and sometimes away at weekends but I was hoping to be able to squeeze some horse time in in the evenings and some weekends. Where I grew up there's an online directory for horse shares and riding offered and from riding there for years I've got a network of contacts for exercising, shares, exchanging labour for riding, etc.

Is anybody able to advise me on this - yards or liveries to approach, areas to ask around in, websites to look on? I've got transport and can make a (not huge) financial contribution.

Thanks very much! :)

Lots of horses near romsley/ clent. That's the long bridge end. Try romsley animal feeds/ jackie Roberts saddlery both in this village. Where are you based in brum? Otherwise try horsesense at Solihull riding club
