Moving to New Farnley - Leeds

Hi,

In a couple of weeks i will be moving to New Farnley in Leeds, can anyone help point me in the right direction for stable yard, prefarbly DIY, somewhere to buy feed, dentist, farrier, Vet etc?

There's 2 or 3 yards on Back Lane New Farnley that you could try. I rode around that area 20 odd years ago so farriers dentists etc will have changed. Try farrier registry for local farriers (postcode LS12) but you'd more than likely be able to use your new yard's farrier, dentist so wouldn't worry about those for now. Think Hirds Vets cover that area, they are decent equine vets, again if you are on a yard they'll know which are the vets in the area. Even though the area is quite close to Leeds City Centre there are some decent rides so have fun!

Thank you both, i can't believe i move in a week! Horses aren't coming over till Easter so i have a little time to sort everything out

Try Pudsey Ag for feed, they sell everything and are well priced, Rob Neale is local farrier and is brilliant as well as being a really nice bloke, you can pick his cards up at Pudsey Ag.
