Moving to Somerset - tell me everything!

In less than 2 weeks we are moving to Somerset - near Nether Stowey, on the edge of the Quantock Hills.
The horses will be at home which will be fab and there are horsey neighbours so hopefully I can pick their brains too.
The area is completely new to us so tell me all I need to know. We know the riding is great - that is why we are moving there. Where do you go for feed etc. Who are the good farriers, vets, saddlers etc.
We have retired the oldie and we are just backing the youngster so prob will not be competing next year as need to save up for transport too (wish house buying was not so expensive). It might be good to get out to some training though if we can hitch a ride. Not sure what the baby is going to do yet - probably a bit of everything.

Am too out of date to help you with information, but you have to be the luckiest of people. The area is beautiful, riding virtually unlimited and the locals are lovely. We used to use White House vets in Minehead and found them to be the very best.. wish we still had them.
 
Can`t help with vets etc as l am over the other side of somerset but good luck with the move you will love it :). I moved from scotland 12 years ago and it was the best move ever :).
 
Thanks guys. I know I am so lucky. It is everyone's dream isn't it to be able to see their horse out of the kitchen window.
 
I miss that area so much......

Stockland Lovell, I highly recommended the place, for residential camps, xc schooling and competitions, fun rides on the Quantocks, get out the riding diary website they have good listings for that area.
