Calling all you WOW experts out there :D

I'm looking for more thigh/knee length on my dressage flaps so that I can ride with a shorter stirrup. I'm looking for a more VSD style rather than pure dressage.

It looks as though the flaps are already forwards - but when I look at the picture of the assembled saddle on the WOW website, it looks exactly like mine.

http://www.fteltd.co.uk/wow/wowflapposition.htm

When I look at this page, it appears that there are 3 positions - backwards, neutral and forward. Yet when I look at my flaps, they only appear to be able to go in 2 positions.....

Should I be looking for something else? I can see the 2 holes in the front tab where there is choice, should I looking for something else as well?

There are only two positions. It is possible to have the flap made longer or with the holes in different places, but it sounds like you need a VSD. VSD flaps are pretty short, so you might want a +5cm pair, which are about the same as a standard dressage flap.

Basically to put them in the forward position, which will mean a dressage flap will then be roughly the same as a VSD flap in the backward position, all you need to do is loosen the bolt on the top of the saddle, on pommel, then undo both flap bolts underneath and swing the flap so that you move the back bolt into the holes that are furthest apart from each other and then the front flap bolts you move into the other hole in the flap and then secure in same bolt hole. Hope that makes sense, do pm me if I can help

There are 3 positions for WOW flaps - but only 2 will be available on your flaps. All flaps have the "neutral" position and then either "forward" OR "backwards" which you specify when they are made. Most are made with the neutral and forward positions. I was advised to have mine made with the "backwards" option as I have a very short leg so it enabled me to bring the flap back so the block supports my leg. I have jumping flaps and have never actually used them in their neutral position, only backwards.
