I cant believe the day has nearly arrived - I dont suppose I will get much sleep tomorrow.

I am relocating to another county so will have to start all over again getting to know a new area, new people etc etc, Feeling rather unsettled myself so hope it goes smoothly and my horse likes her new home and makes lots of new friends!

Oh well pointless post really whilst I have a break from cleaning and packing! Will let you know how it all goes.

Oh not too far then! I relocated a few months ago from The North to The South (Suffolk), its a good 5 hour trip home...although last time it took me nearly 9! My horse is finally moving to his new yard tomorrow too (hes been on working livery until I got something sorted). Have to say I have found the move a bit of a struggle and quite stressful, not knowing anyone to recommend vets/farriers/yards etc but just about sorted now. Oh and I have become an expert at putting up flat pack furniture single-handedly :)

Good luck for tomorrow :)

no prob less than 2 hours but we dont go anywhere so any journey is a long one. will be happy once shes out the lorry and stuffing her face!

my OH been useless helping with packing so also leaning how to tackle flat packs myself though the dining room table was interesting - undid all the legs then realised how bloody heavy it was and all the legs fell off - luckily i dropped it onto 2 chairs - phew!

Good luck with your move. Leyland Court is great fun. We are in South Bristol, which you will find is big, but not huge. PM me if you want any info on things horsey in that area and hope it goes well for you tomorrow.
