well looks like ill be moving my horsey next week. if any one has read my earlier posts my auntie took over a riding school/livery yard last week and i am now working there. we currently keep our horses at a private yard about 10 minutes drive away and we thought we would be able to keep it that way but seems its not possible as we feel our horses are not getting enough attention so weve decided that if all goes right we will move them up next week.

this is our yard now, i know its not exacley the ritz but our horses are very happy here.

this is the riding school weve just taken over needs a lot of work but could be a fab place. i am just a little worried at how my girly will react shes been at our yard for 9 years and going from that to a big yard will be a huge step for her, tho she will be able to go out a lot more so hopefully she will be ok

Sounds fantastic - good luck in getting the place to work nicely

If you are really worried about your mare's reaction maybe you could hack her to the new place a few times and let her explore the new surroundings etc before moving her there permanently.

well we box there to use the school any way and i have hacked there a few times. infact i hacked last week first she tried to walk in the office and then kept trying to turn round as we were going out the gate! dont know weather it was the thought of the long ride home tho
