Blue is bossy, bolshy and stubborn two year old who likes to be in charge. We had problems with an on loan mare with Blue and her fighting to the extent it was getting dangerous for both human and horse so she went back.
I then got Chad back (previously had him on loan) and Blue would chase him away from feed etc and just let Chad know who is boss. The last few days Chad has gone from hiding behind Ellie to being with Blue everytime I go down. Last night I put 5 piles of feed out for Blue and Chad (Ellie fed in stable) and instead of chasing Chad around Blue shared the first pile with him, before moving on together to the next and the next....
I was so pleased as Chad is the total opposite of Blue, a real wimp, and its lovely that him and Blue have found their order and are happy.
Perhaps Blue is growing up a bit............. I live in hope!
