He came out of the stable with a fat leg this morning, after a bit of poking and prodding I found a scuff on the side of his hock just above the swelling (which isn't bad but extends down to the fetlock) so stopped looking, treated what I could see.
Had a better look this evening and there is a second, more suspiscious scrape right on the point of his hock!!! (Bear in mind I'm still on crutches so examining legs isn't the easiest task in the world, especially whe said legs are hairier than a hairy thing in Hairyland)
*sigh* :banghead: Will that horse EVER learn how to look after himself?
TBH it's not vet worthy, certainy not at a Sunday rate, but might give them a call on Monday and see if they'll drop me off some Norodine on their way past (we live V close to the vet surgery) and they're out to do vaccinations on Thursday anyway.
