MRI Scan referral - timescales?

How long does it take in peoples experience from point of vet referring for an MRI Scan until you get the appointment? I've been waiting 4 days now & heard nothing (or am I being impatient)?
 
The hospital got back to me the same day to arrange the appointment which was within 2 weeks, it could have been done sooner in an emergency. I would be chasing your vet by now to find out what they have done about the referral, it may be that they have not yet contacted anyone.

Thank you! I contacted vet yesterday to chase up - Said they were waiting to hear from them & would chase up but I'm still waiting...
