After a horrible weekend with my youngster reverting back to not wanting to load and missing our lesson I had time off work this afternoon to have a practice.
Gave her a small brekkie this morning and turned her out so she would be feeling a bit hungry and then this afternoon got my trailer fully opened out when the yard was quiet. Didnt put her travel gear on (she tends to stress and start pooing everywhere) and had a playwith some feed and the trailer. I tried not pulling on the leadrope and let her come in of her own accord - it took a while coaxing her up the ramp foot at a time but we had none of the dramas we did yesterday
f she backed up off the ramp I tried a tip i found online and pushed her back a few strides in a straight line and then forward again. I just think were going to have to go back to basics and keep practising like this without the lunge reins and broom!
No miracles performed but was a nice experience after yesterday!
